On the local news a few minutes ago, they had some woman showing us how to make healthy snacks for our kids.  Unsweetened oatmeal bars, for one.
 
At ShopRite, they have a pound of those delicious orange cheese puffs for $2.49.
 
That's what a good Mom would give her kids.

That crap in the OP would NEVER happen.

Certainly the kids wouldn't do it on their own.

Their mothers would have forced them to and if they did it at all, it would've been reluctantly and not with those cute little smiles on their faces.

Woulda been more like... "Here. Our moms said we have to give you this stuff. Bye."

If you can find the Oatmeal Chips Ahoy "thins" in your supermarket, grab a pack.

Are they soft cookies? I love soft cookies! I have a cookie related memory I used to get Keebler rainbow M&M cookies at the Winsted Finast store with my mom's sister in the early to mid 90s. Those used to be my favorite, can't eat them because they're hard they were hard back then too!
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off
