Oh, that John Stamos ad. I'm sick of it too. But I'm happy they haven't done any rapping or singing in months and months. New managers in the advertising department?

Be spectacular!
I don't know a lot about this assbag. One thing I do know...Spectrum and their service is far from spectacular.

The rep was jabbering about AT&T recently putting in fiber optic cable in the neighborhood (which was BS), so I just assumed AT&T = Spectrum. Whatever. Wouldn't get sat/cable even if it was free, no matter who it is. Getting tired of being bombarded with constant sales pitches for everything. I should start charging them for wasting my time...

AT&T wouldn't know what "the grid" was if you bludgeoned them with it. As a company, they are LONG SINCE leading in anything. Now, they only follow. And even then, only when not doing affects their stock price. But have some patience. Any day now, they'll learn that towns and cities across America are getting wired for cable. Then, they'll jump on that bandwagon. Oops. 40 years late. (But that's barely 10 minutes in "AT&T time".) Think: Big, slow dinosaur of a company. Staffed with complete buffoons at the top! ...with apologies to buffoons.

Down here Spectrum was recently Bright House.
But you're right about them not being associated with AT&T. Never have been. The thing about cable/satellite TV nowadays, is that no matter how much they boast about the picture quality etc, etc... and they are right about that... TV picture quality is better than it ever has been... the quality of the programming has become basically shít. |

AT&T sells U-verse internet and Direct TV.
Charter (Spectrum) has their own world of customer abuse. |

The AT&T Spectrum sales rep who came to the door today was surprised to learn I didn't have cable, etc. He joked that I was "living off the grid". Now that I think of it, I take that as a compliment... |

Even though I ditched their TV service months ago, they have found a way to get to me.
F*ck you very much, Sharter Rectum. Calling to report a problem was a nightmare, I think they make it that way on purpose! Great customer service you f*cking assbags!!
