Imelda Marcos left behind at least 1,220 pairs of shoes, along with a vast collection of clothes and accessories, when she fled with her husband, President Ferdinand Marcos, during a 1986 uprising.

I don't have to wear them to know that they will be extremely uncomfortable and will fall apart easily. Might as well go to Payless.

I blame their Easter commercials with the bitchy Mother in Law who gives her Daughter in Law "the look" over her kid's shoes.

That's odd.
I blame their sh!tty shoes and their penchant for having two left shoes in the same box.
Or two different sizes.

Synthetic uppers don't help, either.  I screwed up my feet for awhile after wearing a pair of synthetic Payless shoes.

I suppose if you were some sort of fashion diva or a super model you might need a new pair of shoes for every day of the year. We are not that kind of people, we need shoes that are comfortable because we were both on our feet all day.

These women find their shoes more important than anything else in their lives.

I was shocked by this commercial as well. I have three pairs of shoes...one pair of dress shoes, one pair of tennis shoes and pair of sandals. When they get old, I let them go and buy another pair. Who has 450 pairs of shoes and why on earth do they need them.

Someone needs intervention for sure!
