There are kids AND adults who have no freggin idea who these 2 are, perhaps don't know the crappy early 90s tune.

I'll sadly always associate this with the 1993 Phillies, it was played to nauseam on local radio when they went to the World Series that year.

Wild Thing is a great motorcycle song. Build Me Up Buttercup is too soft.

Most songs from the 60's are still protected by copyright.

Buttercup Baby was a pretty good song.

I wouldn't call it a 60's crap song at all.

I like this series of Geico ads, but I think the "clog problem" and the "aunt problem" are my favorites.

With the exception of rock music, I personally can't stand bagpipes. So annoying, especially when multiple people are doing it at once.

Are you talking about "Build Me up Buttercup" by the Foundations?

all bagpipes should be destroyed

preferably in a public square to set an example

they are, have been, and will always be annoying

but then so is fencing, clogging, etc...

Bagpipes were traditionally made from the skin of a whole animal, most often a sheep. The skin would be turned inside out and pipes would be placed where the legs and neck would have been.

I didn't recognize the song at all.  I know the name of the song is not on the iSpot page.

Like RadioNascar guy, this is the only buttercup song I remember.

My dad says that bagpipes sound like cats being tortured.

Its a pukey tie between boom chugalugga  chockalocca and those &^%$ cloggers. The cloggers seem so smarmy. They need a parody where someone takes target practice on the cloggers. Especially that last snark ass brushing his teeth. Today, brushing his chompers, tomorrow, polishing a knob or 10 near you.

so they are Amish or something

While bringing “Clogging” to life, we lucked out when the casting director found a real-life clogging family of six, The Tuckers, based in Utah

makes sense they would be Mormon or something

^ Well, if you're talking about the Mormons who have 10 wives, they'd probably wanna neuter most of the males. How else could one guy score 10 wives?
