More BS from one of America's worst insurance companies. George Washington makes no sense, nor does the penguins and the Gecko conference call. They'll come up with 20 more idiotic ads before 2019. Keep wasting that $$$ on your ad budget!

Suddenly I'm flashing back to the South Park episode where they claim Family Guy stories were created by random balls selected by manatees!

Reminds me of Spock swimming with whales in Star Trek 4.
The other thing that 'sticks out' in this movie? The good doctor has some fantastic boobies! |

The way the kid says "What's 'come at me, bro?'" perfectly, pausing and dropping before 'bro,' tells me he knows exactly what it means.

This ad is offensive in so many ways. Wasn't George Washington from Virginia? He was said to have been very classy and dignified, yet not regal. He was definitely not like the loud mouthed twat shown on this ad! The Geico ad agency takes too many liberties, but trashing the very first president, let alone a masterful general from the American Revolution. Shame on them. I would never take a policy with such a disrespectful company. If they trash a great man like George Washington, what do you think their opinion of regular work a day people like us is?

Disrespectful on so many levels:
First, why can't whitey paddle the boat? And as for the "Betsy Ross" flag, it's first recorded use was in 1792, while Gee-W's famous crossing of the Delaware occurred over Christmas 1776 (some 16 years earlier!) Of course, these are they same asshats that claim fifteen minutes can "save" you 15% or more on car insurance. So, their math is suspect from the start, ...and this simply proves it. |

I posted a link for this back on the first page of this thread. Who do these idiots at Geico think they are?
God's gift to TV marketing? I think, and I have always said, they should use all of this money they spend on their goddamned commercials and give their customers better rates, instead of annoying me 24/7. God, I hate them! |

Yes, that sumo wrestler s--t has come back. Hated it when it aired last year, hate it still!
But to make it even, the 'Running of the Bulldogs' has come back. I didn't mind that commercial last year, thought it was kind of cute.

GEICO must have read my post about how I abhor their invasion of the Jeopardy TV show.
Now they're mixing it up by putting their annoying ads in-between the first and second rounds, instead of just prior to the Final Jeopardy question. Can too much exposure be a bad thing? In GEICO's case..... Yes!!

I think the George Washington in the ad is a reenactor not the actual George Washington.
He's doing a piss poor job as Washington too! |

Whenever a car insurance company talks about how much money they can save you, they should be forced to prove it. Show us bills from REAL customers and show us where and how they saved so much. And if you're a minority or live in a poor neighborhood, it's a known fact that they will purposefully charge you more. If they can't prove their savings then false advertising charges should be files against them with the FTC. And don't allow them to use the excuse that the truth is in their unreadable fine print. There are now laws that cover that.

How can that be? That 'new car replacement' is bound to cost a pretty penny. And they all say that they can save everyone money. It's complete bullsh!t. Speaking of BULLsh*t. The worst offender of all time. Did I ever mention how much I hate them? |

I actually researched this. When you switch, you either pay more, or you pay less than you did with the prior company. If you paid more, then you go in Bucket-A. If you paid less, then you go in Bucket-B. It does not matter what you bought. So, when you hear a statement such as: "People who switched saved an average of $609 on their car insurance." Here's what it means (and it's all technically true): 1. Entities that buy auto insurance are usually people. (So at least the "People" part is legit.) 2. Regardless of which bucket you're in, you are a person. 3. Regardless of which bucket you're in, you switched insurance companies. 4. If you're in Bucket-A (paid more), you're not included in the average. Reason: You're included in the average of people who lost money, not saved. Justification: How could you be in both averages at once? You either lost or you saved. 5. Even if you're in Bucket-B (i.e., paid less), that "savings" says nothing whatsoever about your purchase. Maybe you dropped the kids off your auto policy? Maybe you opted for a lower coverage limit, or a higher deductible. 6. Does not matter. "Savings" is defined as paying less. Even if you are paying for nothing. Don't even get me started on the arbitrary precision of $609.

The "heckler" ad is beyond absurd. If a commoner spoke out as shown in that ad, he would've been chained to a wall in a dungeon until he was a skeleton. Commoners did not mouth off to the gentry!
I actually wanted that little twat to be lanced after the first statement! God, I'm starting to sound like a bloody Tory!

Once again, Geico has decided to interrupt my quiet and peaceful afternoon with more of their freaking bullcrap commercials. God I hate them! I was once quite accomplished in the martial arts, they are mocking the spirit and the level of skill, strength and dedication it takes to move through the ranks. F*ck You Geico!!
