Had to join the conversation, and this group. This commercial has annoyed me, not for the many good reasons listed, but for a reason I guess I must be alone in.
Has no one noticed the old black guy in the shower is so obviously missing a mustache?? Look at that non existent upper lip. There had to be a mustache there! Someone, give that man a mustache....

Amen! This guy creeps me out way more than the dude in the shower, but there's nothing remotely appealing about this commercial, let alone tolerable. He looks like with the right make-up job, he could play one of the zombies on The Walking Dead. This just came on the Weather Channel a few minutes ago and I literally wanted to throw something at the screen.

Just joined this forum to comment on this commercial. As a rock and roll fan, I think the Ramones' I Don't Wanna Be a Pinhead No More would have been excellent in this commercial. I also think they could have used No Time by The Guess Who or Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue haha! While it's not a rock song, Love You Like I'm Gonna Lose You by Meghan Trainor could have worked.

Yes, they did. FINALLY. The new one is somewhat watchable. May we never hear "Tomorrow" and the black guy in the shower ever again!

Why are these senior citizens raising children? Are their parents dumping the kids off at their heart failure prone moms and dads?

I wonder if the Guy With the Goatee at the end of the commercial -- who was possibly the same guy who was pushing the lawnmower earlier in the ad -- and who is now getting all romantic with his lady, isn't risking a coronary with all that activity? Especially if he's popping That Little Blue Pill to "enhance" his romantic endeavors?

One possibility is that earlier in the commercial, he was inadvertently mowing a patch of Horny Goat Weed and got a contact buzz. |

Hey, I got an idea!
Why not take Valsartan off the market (since the patent expired) and we'll mix it with another drug, Sacubitril, that does the exact same thing - only not as well. We'll call the new drug "Entresto" and bilk the populace until 2023 - when the patent on Sacubitril expires. Along the way, we'll fight every effort to produce a generic version of Valsartan. ^ THIS is why I hate big pharma!!!

And we can't forget the doctors who just deliver these overpriced services. It's a freaking politically motivated racket!! |
