Shocked*JUST* saw this commercial and I *JUST* finished dinner!
Yea...I've had to 'Donate from Home' before, also - but never send through the mail. Always had to drop one/drive in/drop off - but it has been years and I'm not too excited about the memories that are coming back now.
I seem to remember something like 'poop-on-a-stick' and seal in plastic bag or 'scoop with spoon and stick in vial then seal'. I just couldn't dropping a loaf in a box and turning it over at the post office...

This commercial might be better if they had hired the box from Progessive to do all the talking.
At least we know he's full of sh!t.  LOL

Or, maybe they could re-purpose that pink Xifaxin intestine/colon (whatever it is!) but instead of a uniform Pantone pink color, make him yellow and black with spots all over, like liver cirrhosis or something.  And maybe take that sh!t-eating grin off his face, cause... you know....  it's "poop".

That's just gross.

I think it was something I ate...
but ever since I saw that commercial, I've had the 'runs' (and I don't mean the 'trots').
Makes me wonder...if the doctor asked you to "please send a sample of that..."
Would you?
Would you use a spoon? dip a cup? use a turkey baster or the baby's aspirator (and then boil them, hoping you got all the chunks out and that the wife wouldn't figure out what a nasty pig you were)?
Or...as you learned at the Betty Ford Clinic, 'Just Say NO'?

Is there a texture you prefer?

A little runny is OK?  Depends on the time of day and foods consumed. Any alcohol?

Don't worry about that blood in my stool sample.

5:17 PM, chicken on the grill...and the big screen in the dining room has this commercial come on, followed by, well...what do you think?
ConfusedNow...for all you 'affluent' types - so what's the big deal about being able to have 'Blue Apron' box dinners? Not much...until the inbound dinner box gets set right next to the outbound Cologuard box and your maid who doesn't speak English picks up the wrong one...tonight's 'Stew' has a distinct 'odor' to it, you notice with your first mouthful (a few drops have slid down your throat when you look beyond the dining room and see the boxes in the darkened hallway, the wrong one's flaps are open...).

During the '70s, my dad used to get disgusted about all of the laxative and hemorrhoid meds that were always broadcast during the "dinner hour" (nightly newscasts). He's been gone for 30+ years, but I often wonder what he'd think about stuff like this.

Such things just don't bother me in the least.  I could eat a peanut butter sandwich while watching 2 Girls, 1 Cup.

Once one realizes that 2G1C was totally faked, it's not hard to watch at all.

One could watch it while eating chocolate pudding or soft serve chocolate ice cream and not be bothered.

I imagine it must be more difficult than throwing your feces in a box and dropping it off at the post office. You are mailing bio-hazardous materials after all.

If i just focus on how spacious and pretty the set -- i mean house-- is, maybe I wont have to focus on the guy going to take a dump..
I am part of the target audience....and I hate it.

So even though this crap has been on television for a long time according to this topic I have only started seeing this recently. I had making a topic about said commercial at the top of my to do-do list but the excrement I feel when I am about to make a new topic got next to me. This commercial is not suitable for anything. No human feces, sh*t-zu dog, calico scat, canary turd, or chicken in a poop needs to see this. I thought seriously about making a reply with a bunch of bad puns but I am more manure than that besides I could not think of how to work the word dung in here. So what I am guano do is simply say that this commercial is utter garbage and move on.

P.S.  There has to be a joke about them using a brown truck to deliver and pick-it up, but I will save that one for someone else.

It's a subliminal message UPS tie-in!  Considering what I think of UPS, it's appropriate.  LOL

The voiceover chick is more annoying than the talking box.  Disapprove

I can see how you could get dung up on that. It's a real hum dunger of a problem. I tried to think of a way, but I'll be dunged if I could.

Nice job on all the other bad puns, though!!!

Every time I see this ad I imagine a 'Candygram' parody. Delivery person pushes a buzzer on the lab door. Next is a security camera view of them holding the package and with a big smile announcing "Poop-A-Gram"!

Hum-Dunger, I like that one as I could certainly have worked it in. About the only thing I could come up with is replacing the word pun with it but found it just did not work.
