I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't stand the "Opera" version of the J.G. Wentworth advertisements?     This ad actually pisses me off and can ruin a perfectly good program.   I've sent them numerous emails on how much this ad sucks.  It is in fact the worst advertisement on TV.

I don't know about that one, but IMMAININ!!! ad just kills me. And not in the good way.

I have finally gotten to where as soon as here J.G. Wentworth's voice saying "At J.G. Went...." I zap the volume.

But there've been way too many times where I actually let it get to the hollering idiots before I was savvy enough to hit the mute button.

I;m so glad you posted this! I f**king HATE this commercial so much!! I mute it every time it comes on. One day after I saw the commercial, I had the song in my head all night and was singing it to myself. Ugh.

I guess one positive thing about having no power due to the hurricane is that I haven't seen this commercial in over a week!!

Heh. This ad is terrible but you have to admit it's still not as bad as the other J.G. Wentworth ad with the people yelling "It's my money and I need it now!" out their windows. That ad was unbelievably annoying.

ETA: By the way this is my first post here so: Hi everybody!

Uhg...I hate any commercial where it says you can get CASH NOW.  It is such a lie.  And I seriously CANNOT stand the sound of his voice.  I can hear it in my head this very minute "at J.G Wentworth, you can get caaaash noooow"...yuck, it makes me want to pull my hair out.

Someone's obviously been watching too many J. G. Wentworth commercials:

From website of WTHR 13, Indianapolis, 11/6/08:

Indianapolis - Lines were long and tempers flared Wednesday not to vote but to get paid for canvassing for Barack Obama. Several hundred people are still waiting to get their pay for last-minute campaigning. Police were called to the Obama campaign office on North Meridian Street downtown to control the crowd.

The line was long and the crowd was angry at times.

"I want my money today! It's my money. I want it right now!" yelled one former campaign worker.

LOL

Hundreds of threads killed.

I think it is new, and yes it's terrible.  But the thing that cracked me up is...THEY CHANGED THEIR PHONE NUMBER from 877-cash-now.  I wonder if it's because too many people called them and pranked them?  If so you'd think they'd have learned their lesson by now.

Maybe they got tired of hearing people sing in falsetto over the phone, "I have a structured settlement and I need cash noooowww!" And for what little it's worth (...what it's Wentworth?), I happened to like the opera spot.
