I'm very conflicted about TMIMITW, at first I hated him, then I kinda liked him for a while, and now I'm just tired of him. "Start with Dos" You might think it's a double innuendo, him referring to the "Dos" Equis, and also the "Dos" chicks he's gonna get drunk and have very interesting 3 way sex with. But I can't help but think of it as a triple innuendo. He's referring to those 2 things referenced above, but also saying "Start with Dos" as in start the day with number 2, taking a huge dump. You're gonna need room to guzzle down those margaritas and fill your gut full of tortillas, cheese, beans, and meat of a questionable origin. |

I actually like this series. It doesn't bother me at all.

Definitely no where near as bad as other corporate mascots (Wendy's comes to mind), but TMIMITW just doesn't amuse me as much as he once did. But believe me, I had to take a minute to decide where to post this commercial...here or in commercial talk, but ultimately tipped the scale towards here. |

That one's not his best, but he's had some great moments including running towards the bulls, his "Pffft, how hard can this be?" ski jump, and being stuck in a snow cave with two lovelies like he was wrapping up a Bond film.

I loved the Allstate Mayhem commercials for awhile, and I still don't mind them. But some of the humor wore off after the first few, and I just stopped paying close attention. They're still some of the better commercials out there, though. Same with these. |

Yep. This one may not be his best, but TMIMITW and Mayhem are pretty much the only commercials where I will actually stop and pay attention to them when there's one on I don't recognize.

One thing that makes this guy even more interesting, is that he's not Spanish or Hispanic at all. He's a Jewish guy from New York City with a last name of Goldsmith. |

I don't usually listen to Hispanics, but when they are in commercials, I prefer them to be Jewish. Stay Kosher my friends.

Throw in a little typo like "Dos Equus" and it could get into some really weird territory....

I just saw something on TV about Cinco De Mayo, and how it fell on a Monday this year. And the Friday before Cinco De Mayo is May 2nd. So he's also saying "Start drinking on Friday" when he says "Start with dos".
Quadruple innuendo. Mind officially blown. Aw shucks. I love you TMIMITW, you interesting bastard. |

This one is a little weak but overall I like TMIMITW--I think they have held up pretty well. One of my faves is that his Mother has a tattoo that says "son."

I think this guy and the "Southern Comfort" dude on the beach are two of the most enjoyable ads I've seen in long time. It's nice when people don't take themselves too seriously and aren't obnoxious about it.
