WinkHey! Ya know it could happen to any of us.
As much as I hate to say it, Bubba, it could be you.
You *could* have to find cool black glasses, learn to play piano, get addicted to a different herione, and become 'Hoot Charles'.
All the same, ol'frien' - I really hope not. Something tells me the music would suck 'cause ya couldn't find the black keys on the piano, bein' yer from Ohio, doncha know...LOLWink

All kidding aside - watch out. Should you start 'feeling pain' (normally in ONE eye) due to headlights in nighttime traffic, start being concerned - get yourself checked - set aside about five grand, after insurance, as co-pay. Then anticipate the other eye within time - when things go sideways, it happens in less than a year and is usually not a 'one-eyed fix', but you will have *FINAL* options (this becomes a 'once in a lifetime' decision) - and there are usualy a minimum of FOUR levels of sight restoration, as you become a little bit of the 'Bionic Man'.

Pa, I'm still not sure what you're going through, but i had cataract surgery on both eyes two years ago.  I can see 20/25 and do not wear glasses except for reading.

I do hope whatever you have is resolved and you're ok buddy.

Judging from the symptoms he's described in his vague & cryptic description, it sounds kinda like this...

Just a guess, though.

I guess Pa doesn't wanna give us the Dx.  I assume it's not the dry eyes that Dr. Tendler recommends Restasis for.

I've nearly injured myself trying to get to the remote so I could change the channel when she comes on.

I despise her.

Sounds like the title of a porno.  Or a screen name in a sex chatroom.

There is rain in the forecast for the next 3 days so I went ahead and mowed.
The Packers play their final preseason game at home tonight, in the rain.

I've been taking pictures again.
This is baby phante, a baby elephant, the ONLY toy in history that has survived the wrath of Leah.
The squeaker still works, she had developed some sort of passion, like it's her offspring.
Crazy ass dog has us laughing most of the time.

^^ LOL  My dog never was big on toys aside from Rope toys (she was a vicious tug of war player), but she never met a rawhide she didn't take pleasure in decimating.  For Christmas one year I got her about a 3 foot long candy cane shaped rawhide and she could've sworn she was in heaven. Took her a few days but she knocked it out.

It doesn't even quite make sense.  If she's referring to herself as such, she should use "mylf"---Mother You'd Like to F*ck.

5am.  Raccoon out in the backyard while I was out there smoking my first cigarette of the day.  The cats were interested, but not enough to approach the critter.  I put them inside anyway, and went out to finish my smoke.  The raccoon watched me for awhile and then left.  A few minutes later, I see him out front, going down into the storm drains while the neighb's cat, Cornelius, contemplated joining him.  That cat's more fearless than my own.

Sweet Jaysus - is it a reincarnation of Cream Lady???

And if it is, she'll probably go off on some tirade that her name was questioned.

I had thought before, that that might be what happened to your other cat who disappeared. Might've been chasing something & went down into the storm drain.

That possibility occurred to me, too.  I actually stuck my head down near the nearby storm drains and called him.  It's a mystery to this day.  Been 2 years.  Sweet little Capone.  Cry

It's a warm muggy morning in the neighborhood.
Several showers have moved though while the dog and I clean up mamas truck.
She came home pissed yesterday because of problems with drugs at work, she's an RN.
Then she stopped for her own scripts on her way home and that was screwed up too.
I just try to calm the old girl down.
The dog loves vehicles, when I want to run the vacuum, Leah will attack the vacuum cleaner, I have to say, "Wanna sit in the truck".
It's good she is in the truck because it's another sound barrier, she can't hear the sweeper and others can't hear her if she barks.

The weather is nice, Leah is keeping an eye on the people fishing.
Sometimes she farts when she barks.
It's tough to get old with us.
