"Get your chef on"???
First of all, I'm sick of "Get your (fill in the blank) on". Not that I ever liked it...or any such stupid, trendy expression.
Second of all, I'm sure actual chefs regularly get their sauces out of a Kraft variety pack.

What's worse is that those disembobied heads belongs to people who appear on ABC everyday on a cooking show called The Chew.
And of course, because it's on network TV, they're all hip, wisecracking, repartee-bantering twerps who are too obnoxious for anyone with a brain to watch for more than 5 minutes. The blonde on the left, if you'll note the resemblance, is Dr. Oz's sister. Gee... I wonder how she got that job??? |

I haven't seen this commercial, and just looking at the freeze shot on the video, I don't want to.

OK, close enough.
Still, she obviously got the job because of being a close relative of his. |

That, and the fact they needed one person on that show to look like a human being.

I guess they're going for anything weird and freaky. Anything random and sh*t, just to get your attention!
Frankly? I hate it! |

The Chew-dumbest name for a cooking show. When I think of The Chew I envision a fat baseball manager with a wad in his cheek.

I don't get why the ad agency felt the need to put adult heads onto kid bodies. Why not just simply have two regular, full adults sitting at the table? Would make a lot of sense.

Right????? And a big ol' string of brown tobaccy drool coming out of one corner of his mouth!!! Of course, they'd have to call it "The Chaw". |

And that "I'm getting some parmesan notes!!!" BS.... "Parmesan notes"???? WTF are "parmesan notes"???? I guess that's supposed to be "pro-chef/food expert" lingo. I hate when people use jargon rather than just speaking normally. I guess they must think that impresses people or it makes them sound cool. That gal is a complete dork anyway. |

"notes" are used by some in the biz. That giant head on that commercial is a real life chef. But chefs are a dime a dozen. GOOD chefs are something else. (Michael Symon, on the Chew and Mario Batalli are are both good chefs)
The Chew is not. |
