I saw the forecast for that area, must be nice.

The wood stove is working overtime but we are warm and comfy.

I get a little bit of satisfaction knowing I am heating the house without any help from the utility companies.

It's alright, but it doesn't help us get into the holiday spirit much.

Might as well be March or April.

The winds are already picking up, it's blowing the snow off of the roof and coating everything I have tried to keep clear of snow.
The dog is crazy, she likes to lay down in the snow but the ice hole fishermen are back. She just barks constantly. I know the cold weather can't be good for her rear legs and hips.  She can barely walk.

I don't let her stay out very long.

We have both vehicles inside now so I don't worry about cars that won't start, I am worried about Saturday morning and my wife's commute to work.
I suggested she take the main roads instead of her preferred route through the rural part of the county.

My mission...should I choose to accept it.
Clear the snow off of the driveway before Mama has to leave for work.

The weather people were saying 8 to 10 inches by 5 AM, we don't have that much here yet.

2:44 AM Central.
Looks more like 5 or 6, much easier to deal with than 8 to 10.

Needless to say, I'm feeling a little beat up after the latest snowfall.

The total was much closer to 8 than 12 inches, thank goodness.

It's still snowing but I'll be damned if I go back out there today, it's written in the aka ranch bylaws.

Warm and a tiny bit on the humid side here.

Otherwise, 83° and sunny.

Sitting here in the buff with all the windows open and the fan going.

Can't complain.

I learned today that pallet jacks don't work in the snow.

It's cold here! 1.8° above zero, feels like -12°.
Anybody have any clever comments about cold weather?

It's as cold as a witches tit!

I just got back from grocery shopping. Stepping outside from the a/c in the store, it felt like friggin JUNE!!!!

Hot and muggy!!!

I realize it's kinda petty to complain about it being too warm and sunny here while the rest of the country is buried in snow and freezing it's ass off, but damn!!! It's a week before Christmas and it feels like I should be getting my garden ready to plant!!!

Guess I shouldn't complain though.

It's lower in temperature than a female wicca practitioner's mammary gland in the second month of the Gregorian calendar (colder than a witch's tit in February). LOL

It's 8:40 pm on Sunday evening one week before Christmas and I'm sitting here with nothing on but a pair of shorts, no shirt, socks or shoes, with a fan blowing on me just to stay cool and comfortable.

I heard it got close to 90° today!!!!

It was so cold Saturday night that...I chipped a tooth on my soup!
The low was -8°.

Much nicer today, 32° with wind bringing in the milder air.

Got kinda chilly here last night.

I think it might have dropped into the upper 50's.

I know I put on socks, my fleece house pants and a flannel shirt before going to bed. Even covered up with a light blanket.

I did keep the front door and windows open though.

Brrrrrrrr.....

I can't get PostImage to work.
I made the trip to Poy Sippi today for a face cord of firewood. My timing was good because it's snowing now. Could get 2-4 inches.
The garage doesn't care how heavy the truck is.
