It has it all! Stuff that merits hate-worthy commercial fodder.
1. Bad ghetto like music 2. With a breathy hipster vocal fry female singer. 3. Trying to be sophisticated but falls flat on its face. Seems this summer the car companies are rolling out vomit worthy commercials. I guess the Millennials like this stuff and pay attention. Barf out, gag me with a spoon! |

I'm a millenial and I hate this type of music!
I'd rather listen to Florence Foster Jenkins on endless repeat than hear this crap! |

Your mouth to God's ears! Madison Avenue seems to differ from your feelings and of course mine. There must be some secret compound hideaway where they clone and test tube birth these awful singers. The ones with vocal fry, breathy croaking and are now multi-cultural. Once the domain of skinny white Northeast and California elite skinny hipster hippie chicks is now embracing diversity and making vocal fry, breathy croaking multi-racial and an equal opportunity employer. There's a Ford commercial where an attractive African American woman is gassing up a nondescript ugly Ford lemon and they play some vocal fry hip hop rap crap.

Emilie Mower? Never heard of her.
The state of music today is just...simply...AWFUL! Hate the voice, hate the song...and the ad sucks! Period. |

Mower? That's a hoot. But the album cover says, Mover. In Baltimore, I believe either at one of our JCC centers or Sinai Hospital, a wing or agency is named after a Manny or Morty Mower. If I had that last name, I'd change it. Here's a Wikipedia Page for this budding artist from Canada. She does folk and children's sh*t music. Maybe Trump is right about building a wall on our borders. lmao OMG just what I thought a Millennial Hipster chick. <http://emiliemover.com/>https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/1185736_10153161003680324_1516825998_n.png?oh=b5e7c16083b6e074a4df87c0817ecbb8&oe=58317967

It's like they're trying to revive 1960s vocal music. However, they end up turning it into lame hipster garbage. Featuring nauseating voices that make want to stab your ears out until you can't hear anymore! Arrrrrrrggggghhhh!

Hmmm...I don't think the song's bad at all. Probably wouldn't buy it, but I wouldn't turn it off the radio.

Thank God, I don't remember any 60's music that sounded like this hipster garbage. The closest thing I can compare? Melanie's nails across the blackboard 1971 sh*t hit Brand New Key. Again, not to stereotype a generation but this has millennial all over this hurl inducing sound. |
