Fresh pasta's overrated in my opinion. Too much work, too little reward. Plus, I've found it to cook too fast, which makes "al dente" harder to achieve.

I'll probably never make fresh bread or ice cream, either.

Anyone who's never made fresh bread or homemade ice cream by the time they reach your age, almost certainly never will.

Because you're like.... old.

When I was cooking for us, I tried to make the menu with a lot variety.  A lot of cooking on the grill.  Steaks, pork chops and chicken.  When I made spaghetti, I bought Prego (garlic, onion & basil) flavored sauce. I always added a pound of ground beef to the mix.  I NEED MY MEAT!.  Some garlic bread on the side is a meal I miss.
