Back when Dominos first introduced it's line of oven baked subs they had a huge ad campaign about how their arch nemesis Subway...I mean "Sub Mart" had jealous employees because the Dominos subs were some how much better then the ones they make. I thought the nonsense was over....wrong! Dominos has apparently made 2 new subs and their bloated egos have brought to us Dominos subs vs "Sub Mart" subs round 2.

The commercial stars 3 Sub Mart employees and the Dominos delivery guy who apparently has nothing better to do and no other deliveries to make because he just hangs around while the Sub Mart employees eat their food. Both try the subs, I didn't catch the names because I could care less. They remark about how great they taste WITH THEIR MOUTHS FULL. I f**king hate when they do stuff like this, like its sooooo freaking great that they can't swallow before they speak. I believe this is a direct quote from jealous SM employee number 1 with mouth full: "Dish un has rawsted red peppars n' feta sheese."...and I want to point out she is holding the sub sideways. Who the f**k does that? She makes me so angry I want to take the sub from her and and smack her across the face with the hard crusty bread. "DO WE HAVE ROASTED ANYTHANG" loud jealous SM employee number 2 says. "Nope, we got lettuce" says first and last appearance jealous SM employee number 3 while WHIPPING A HAND FULL OF LETTUCE AT THE WALL. WTF who's going to clean that up? He is, that's right. Why make a mess you're going to have to clean up?

I'm so tired of Dominos acting like it's going to put Subway out of business. Congratulations Dominos, you have what, 5 flavors of subs now? Subway probably has 20, not counting the fact that you can basically customize it however you want and get it toasted or soft...OH and you know the whole thing about not having to call or go online to order a sub from subway, I can just walk in and have it made in front of me! I haven't seen Dominos advertise for pizza lately, it's been all about the pasta bowls (which are great) and subs (not so great).

Why does Dominoes have such a problem with lettuce? The guy flings the lettuce against the wall in such a derisive way. Does Dominoes not like healthy food? When you think about it, these subs from dominoes are probably as healthy as some "Sub Mart" subs, so are they trying to make people think "Ooh, lettuce is so bad, why would I want that on MY sub?"

I don't know why they feel they need to attack Subway in the first place. Arby's has subs, but they manage to not attack Subway, Penn Station, or Quiznos. Come to think of it, all of those sub places manage to have their own ad campaign that doesn't parody their competitors. Why does Dominos (a PIZZA RESTAURANT) feel they need to put down Subway to sell their subs? If they HAD to do that, wouldn't it make more sense to go after Quiznos, which also specializes in Over Baked Sub sandwiches?

I believe it goes without saying, at least in my own opinion, that dominos food tastes like hogsh*t.  It is with this that the commercial automatically loses credibility.  These personal biases likley arrange from my past employment with the franchise, while witnessing the cheap, disgusting sh*t they use in their food.  Domino's pizza sucks sh*t, and the f**king horsesh*t they try to pass off as food should be being used to dissolve asbestos off of old drainage pipes.  If this commercial served any truth, the sub workers would be vomiting violentley and projectile sh*tting through the seats of their pants due to the f**king abomitible disquality of this f**king bullsh*t they pass off as food.

I also noticed the girl in the commercial holding the sub sideways. I'm guessing it was to make it appear larger, as it does seem to distort the shape a bit. Almost as irritating as the fact that she's raving about how good the sandwich is, but hasn't taken a bite of it yet.

Thank you.

I was about to order a sub from Quizno's not Domino's, but thought better of it as I am sure this isn't an isolated incident. I will go to the store and buy what I need to make my own sandwich.

Probably healthier for me that way.

Papa John's is better
I have one near me.
Good pizza and chicken wings. I'd go there more if I had money.

I'm glad someone posted about this commercial. I have been meaning to.

Just like Hezadancer, the girl who talks with her mouth full just annoys the living daylights out of me. I don't know exactly why (other than she is talking with food in her mouth), but, man, she really annoys me.

And I totally agree with what Duffin said above, what is so wrong with lettuce? Maybe if americans ate more lettuce, and other fresh food, we wouldn't be so fat, nasty, and sick.

Up yours, Domino's!!!!!!!!!!!

What I hate about this ad aside from the obvious and previously stated is the tired premise fo the "loyal to a fault" employee.
The portrayal of the devoted company man shamefully succumbing to the competition is tired and completely embarassing.
Look unless you are pulling in higher five or six figures plus, who gives a sh*t what the competition is doing.

I worked at Dominos as a delivery guy in college and I'd have people say stuff like, "we are going to Godfather's pizza, is that cool? Will you be able to go?"
Or when my friend worked as a merchandiser for Coke he said people would buy Pepsi or something when he was loading coke and they'd say things like, "oh sorry" or "I bet this pisses you off eh?" and hold up pepsi or something. He would just laugh and shake his head.

I don't know, but in my opinion, it seems like those Ad executives have never stepped foot into a Subway or any other "sub mart", or are aiming at people who have never set foot in a Subway, or any other Sub restaurant for that matter. At subway, you don't want Lettuce, or any other veggie on your sandwich, they won't put it on!

I finally saw this commercial. Could they have picked a more obnoxious looking girl for this commercial? It's bad enough they have her eating with her mouth full and attacking that sandwich like it was a day at the spa. If it was an attractive girl they probably wouldn't have felt the need to make her eat with her mouth full. But since the jolly fat man (or woman) is "tongue-in-cheek" funny, let's go for it! Or wait, maybe that was really Eddie Murphy in another fat suit!

I wasn't going to go there, but I do agree, the girl is a little on the chunky side. It's hard to tell since she's sitting down, but her face is puffy.
