I haven't eaten Domino's in years--Pizza Hut and several local pizza joints are right near our house. So I'll probably take D's up on that 2 med for 5.99 each deal just to check it out and get a cheap meal.

Oh, and they'll give you your money back if you hate it... "not half of it, but all of it." [Hearty chuckles]   Is that funny? What, because usually I only expect HALF my money back with a money-back guarantee?

Legoman..oh really...kinda was wondering about that...since they said the crust is now going to be garlicky....hmm....now what if you don't like garlic  (I like garlic but overdosing the crust is not the way to go)!  Most orignating pizzas never did all this hanky pankying around with simple Pizza.  Gonna make deep dish from scratch tonight...

Well, living in pizza hell (aka Maine) where NOTHING has flavor I'm forced to get it from the chains if I want it at all. I tried the local chains (Amato's and Sam's) and compared to these two Dominoes and Pizza Hut are the equivalent of NY pizza... yeah it's THAT bad around here, I'm going through withdrawals:-/ Whether I get the pizza from a chain or from the grocery store I always have to throw on more sauce, more cheese and a ton of oregano and Italian Seasoning to even come close to being edible and of course it still isn't the same thing. I think one of these days I'm actually gonna get off my butt and start making my own pizza from scratch, it always tastes better when I vamp up other people's mistakes:-P

Oh and WTF is the deal with the 40% more spices crap? I HATE Pizza Hut now because their sauce is spicy as hell. Look people HOT is not an Fing flavor I want to be able to eat a decent slice of pizza with flavors I can taste and without having to run to the bathroom afterwards!!! Oh how I long for the greasy cheezy goodness of NY pizza on a transparent paper plate mmmmm
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Craftychiq, I don't get the whole spicy/hot thing either.  I got it when I was 20, and eating a ton of red pepper on my pizza seemed a macho thing.  But "hot" usually just kills the flavor of the food.

The key to good pizza is the sauce.

The cheese picks up the sauce's flavor a little, & if the sauce isn't just right, the whole pizza suffers no matter what kind of crust or toppings you have.

DiGiorno's is pretty good if all you can get is grocery store pizza.

Great news guys.... With the Air Hawk, flat balls are no longer a problem!!!

It's good. Better than the original. The sauce is a little spicier but not so much that my kids won't eat it. And the crust is really good, which makes me think it's bad for you. They probably brush it with artificial "butter" and then sprinkle on some "garlic salt." Taking an otherwise healthyish food and topping it with chemicals. But it tastes good!

Making your own pizza is the best...been making pizzas with french bread, bread rolls, finished pizza breads etc, and lately made a chicago deep dish from a recipe on line but it called for 1/2 cup of cornmeal and I just did not like it (my b/f liked it but I will leave it out next time)...I will leave that for sprinkling the bottom only.  Any of you that live in Chicago...do they put cornmeal in the dough?  Just wondering?
