Discover Card is still at it with their annoying campaign of customers calling and getting their doppelganger service reps. Not only are they still flooding the airwaves with the screaming guy who hates surprises, and the "Awesome sauce!" twins, now we have... this.

Hipster dope, complete with glasses and stubble, trying to make us laugh with a stupid misheard word pun gag whatever you wanna call it... and failing miserably... AAAGH! Dead

Seriously, is this what it takes to write ad's for a FORTUNE 500 company?

"FROG SOUNDS LIKE FRAUD LOL, WHAT IF WE HAD A GUY THAT OWNED FROGS CALL THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT...AND HE'S ALL LIKE "FROG PROTECTION" AND THE OTHER GUY IS LIKE "OMG DID YOU SAY FRAUD OR FROG?" LOL!!!".

Just wow.

If that's all it takes, then I want a job, because I'd like to get paid to sh*t out this kinda crap.

Agreed, I'll even throw in my first idea for a Discover commercial at no charge.

Ok so this guy is standing in his studio apartment with a fedora on and he's got one of those yard gnomes. But this particular yard gnome has a chrome finish on it. So he's polishing the gnome as he call's into Discover, and reaches someone in the home loan department. The discover rep answers the phone and apartment hipster guy says "Yes I'd like to learn more about a chrome gnome", and the lady is like "omg did he say chrome gnome or home loan? lol". And hilarity ensues.

I'll take that job now.

It sounds crazy, but there are a lot of scam artists who will buy a whole bunch of items on their credit card, and then claim someone stole their card and made those purchases....

and what about that Steamen or Steam and Spray commercial? hmm, almost sounds like one of those 7 words you shouldn't say on television? (although it is a name of a well known corporation),but I hear it every day,it sounds like a product in the condom isle of wal-mart., I never really look at the TV when I hear it.{being i hate commercials!!!).

The worst thing about this commercial is the gag doesn't even make sense, fraud and frog don't sound even remotely alike unless you have a major speech impediment. I can picture the ad execs sitting around when one comes up with the idea, "Hey, lets do a pun on fraud protection!" the others readily agree but can't come up with a something that sounds really similar to Fraud, but its getting close to quitting time when one says "what about frog?"

Does anyone find these ads humourous at all?
The ad executives responsible for crap like this, should be standing in the unemployment line!

Really? Do they think a frog is something that needs frog/fraud protection? Do they think any semi intelligent human would make this connection? If you are hawking fraud protection just try to explain why your product is better than the competition. This s**t is just silly.

I have never liked this commercial and it seemed it had gone away but in the last week it has been playing very heavily. I have seen it come on about 3 times just since I started watching TV at 8pm and it's now 11. It is not funny, it is just annoying, and the repetition just gets on my last nerve. Why do they think this is a good commercial?
A new study finds that people who are chipper & happy live longer. Which is surprising because people who aren't chipper & happy want to kill people who are always chipper & happy. David Letterman
