Just found this forum and love the topic.  I searched for what I think is one of the most annoying and misleading commercials and could not believe I didn't find Deal Dash as a topic.  Perhaps I didn't search correctly, so if this is a duplicate, please forgive the newbee.

Deal Dash....   the "Fair and Honest auction site"Angry What a heap of dog poo.  You pay for every bid you place.  "I got this big screen TV for 12 dollars and 50 cents"  What she doesn't say is how much she has spent to place bids for that TV and all the other stuff she didn't win.

And the version with the guy doing interviews with the "real" couple in a mall.  "How much would you say this computer costs?"  Oh gosh, that's a real high end model....  $12 thousand dollars?  No, just 53 cents on DealDash.com.

... and shipping is always free.

It has been posted but it was years ago, I think they are still using the same stupid commercial.

Yea.  Been seeing this one for years.  The picture that they show of the iPad is either an iPad 1, or an iPad 2.  That looks like an older Macbook, too.

Love when it says "these people are not paid actors".  Yea, no sh*t.  If they were paid, I hope that they didn't get paid much.

as someone said before
"think about their profit margins...You may get a $500 phone or something like that for $75. However..they are getting 60 cents for every bid placed from 1 penny all the way up to $75. That is 7500 bids that they are getting 60 cents for. So...along with the $75 they get from the winning bidder, they are getting $4500 from all the LOSING bidders. So they have sold that $500 item for $4575. Of course, they may NOT get that much. Because many of these sites bid themselves to keep things going. Say an "auction" is about to be won for just $25 and no one else is bidding, They will bid $25.01 just to keep that one bidder on the hook. Why not? Every bid he makes is another 60 cents for them."
I am part of the target audience....and I hate it.

Months ago I researched BEEZID.com which is the same type scam. Virtual penny poker chips for only 60 cents each? Sign me up. NOT!Angry I don't see how these scams can be legal.

It's such a crock. And anyone with a working brain cell should be able to say "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Sadly, many are brain dead and p*ss away $1000's of bucks of bids to win a $50 blender.

All I have to see is DealDash got these two mentally slow idiots as their "spokes people"  - pretty much speaks for itself.

Nothing that involves burning calories, apparently.

I guess they allow patients to use a computer in the institution. Clearly these people don't belong on the street in public.

I picture these 2 have at least 10-15 cats, no husband.
The house looks like something out of an episode of "Hoarders."

Actually I would be concerned for the animals. I think they could be neglected since Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum sit in from of a computer hitting "BID-BID-BID" 20+ hours a day.

@ThatNerdInPhilly. Love the "10 - 15 cats and no husband" comment. Perfect. You are so right. They probably reek of cat pee and cigarette smoke.

I know that all commercials are "staged" to some extent, but some are just SO fake that it's unbelievable.
