This one is making the rounds a lot these days. Taking the cue from Panera's "clean food" buzzwords. Hey, my Cheez-its are very clean, too. And they're ready in seconds, not minutes!

(Strange: I searched the forums for "daily harvest" to see if there was another thread, and it found 1 result. But I went through that thread, and neither "daily" nor "harvest" was anywhere to be found. But "Panera" was all over the place.)

So this is the type of food people who speak with a ridiculous degree of vocal fry go for??

Thanks. I'll pass on it.

Not that I'd ever eat any food named "Daily Harvest" to begin with.

Daily Garbage is more like it.

That purple goop she's sucking through a straw looks like something that would have me running to the crapper with the Hershey squirts by the time I got to work, if I even made it that far.

Not to mention it looks about as substantial and filling as a cup of yogurt.

For the prices they charge for that Cup-O-Crap, you could just pop into a snack bar that has a health food menu and grab a smoothie made with real fruit. Let someone else do the work.

I'll stick to my daily breakfast of a frittata made with one large egg, two slices of smoked turkey, two turkey sausage links and some shredded cheddar on top, Triscuits and a cup of coffee with sugar free French Vanilla creamer and about five chocolate Maria cookies.

Ah, I see what I did wrong. I searched posts instead of topics. Thanks, Ron!

Doesn't matter.

Your thread is about a different commercial than the one I started. Wink

I remember those Panera adverts with the moronic "clean food" tagline; as if other shops sold dirty food. Around that time, I figured that I could wangle senior discounts by talking intelligently (non-stupidly?) to the cashier.

Maybe the Panera food isn't all that clean, but contaminated with a stupidity virus - and Daily Harvest caught it.
