This ad bugs the crap out of me mainly due to:
Her general unfunniness and large size shirt fetish-I mean,
what is THAT supposed to be? She has never struck me
as being anything more than not as funny as Pam on the Office
and yeah, i saw her series-Meh
The REAL problem here is Dan Levy and his mincing feyness
in the context of New Normal, is this over gay Charles Nelson Reilly schtick
supposed to be funny or ignored? I mean he lays the gay on
REAL THICK and, if we are being tolerant & ignoring or accepting it,
IT CEASES TO BE A HUMOR CRUTCH
I mean neither of them bring much to this ad but ALL he 
brings is eyebrows and DOUCHERY

Your help allows a broader spectrum of misunderstanding this
'new normal' gig that constantly irks me and mystifies me as to
WHAT i 'should' feel for this MALARKEY
Like is what fey Dan saying FUNNY or is it his snarky gay delivery?
And, if so, shouldn't i ACCEPT it and find the content unfunny OR
yuk yuk at how fruity he is and laff AT him,
making me a horrible old fashioned misanthrope of the worst kind?
Also i don't 'get ' her shirts--is this like ghetto dudes and their
'pants on dee ground' or does she have a thing for a David Byrne look
circa 1981?

The "fey snarky gay" thing is a very worn-out stereotype that really needs to go away. I won't say it's not funny in the right context (I'm gay btw - but not fey or snarky), but it irks me that still, in 2021, it seems to be the expected gay thing. (c.f. the "yummy broccolini" commercial.) It's uncomfortable. It's the stereotype that was around when I was a kid, and I hate that at the age of 57, I still see it so much on TV, in movies, etc. MOST GAY MEN I KNOW DON'T ACT LIKE THAT AT ALL.
