Average price for a 30-second spot this year is reportedly $3.8 million, a sharp increase from years past.

So it seems we watch those companies that 'pay the price' and look at their product retail costs prior to and after the game - measure the delta and, should we buy THOSE products, get ready to pay for their investments and target orofits from their commercial spots.
Nice.

It's those damned Roman numerals. When you add the X (10) into the mix, you actually subtract 10 years.
Do they even teach Roman numerals anymore? If so, why? It seems silly that you'd have to do math just to figure out a numeral. The Romans might've gotten some things right (like pasta and wine and vomitoriums), but they fell a bit short in their number system.

I'm checking the Parent's Television Council to make sure no "ED Pill" (That's Cialis and Viagra for those of you in Rio Linda!) will be aired (They have a schedule for the networks that tell you if these ads are going to be aired). If I see any of these scheduled, I WILL NOT be watching the game this year, and will use other methods to evaluate the commercials. I'm sorry if I'm being a prude, but I simply refuse to lower my standards. I will complain to the network if I find out if these kinds of ads will be aired, I don't care if this is an act of futility.

I've seen a couple "previews" from KIA and Volkswagen that are pissing me off already.
