Not only does it teach subtly about discrimination with not letting an anthropomorphic rabbit have something just because he looks different, but it also has an element of bullying to it in that they let the rabbit jump through all these hoops to get the cereal and then a kid just walks up and snatches it from him knowing full well they could have given him the discriminatory "Trix are for kids" schpiel in the beginning.Angry

ever since they changed the formula (now with less sugar or whatever) it doesn't even taste good.

They should just end these stupid commercials already, just like Tom, Jerry and Garfield--all four animals need to go. They've done their time. They're not funny anymore. The last time I read Garfield was when the horrible 'We're bachelors, baby!' gag started--after that, I just stopped reading it in favor of archiving the 1980's strips (which, by the way, are hilarious).

Blasphemy! Tom and Jerry are still great. As are the Loony Tunes. They are far more entertaining than the sissy-footed Oprah-approved crap nowadays like Spongebob or Pokemon. No wonder our kids are so effed-up.

Spongebob and Pokemon were good--in their early seasons. After that--that's when it became sissy-footed "Oprah-approved" crap.

I've always felt bad for the Trix Rabbit, I'd give him some trix before I'd give those kids any.

And...
Well...I like all of those shows still lol.

Also, Pokemon's most recent season has actually been good and is trying to be as good as season 1....but I agree Spongebob has done its time, the show now just relies on disgusting close ups and disguised adult humor.

"Silly Rabbit, Trix are for ki..."

"BULLSH*T! Look at the box, and look who's on it! ME! And what does that tell you?"

"..You're ..the mascot for this cereal?"

"Correct. I'M the mascot. I'm the TRIX Rabbit. Not you. Now, hand over MY f*cking cereal, brats."

Remember about 15, maybe 20 years ago when they actually let the Trix rabbit eat the Trix?  There was some sort of vote and 'yes' won.  I found a crappy quality version here:

I kept hoping that the rabbit would spit it out and declare it the most disgusting thing he had ever eaten.

I'll have to remember that when one of my critters demands some of my chocolate ice cream.

Ironic--the first episode of Ed, Edd n' Eddy's on, and he commented: "You can't have someone touching your stuff. It just idn't right."
