Okay, so for those who haven't seen it...the commercial features the King breaking into McDonald's HQ to steal the plans for the McMuffin. That's...pretty much it. Burger King basically says "Hey, we don't really have a new idea, so we literally stole this from McDonald's. Oh, but it's only a dollar!" They literally say in the commercial "It may not be the original, but it's only a buck".
The commercial itself isn't really that annoying, but...how can Burger King really be proud about stealing a food item from another company like that?

Yeah, I could see if they put a new twist on it somehow... I don't know how they could though. It's a muffin thing with an egg, cheese and a sausage.

Saw this yesterday for the first time. Also found it odd.

They're trying to be cool by owning up to stealing the idea I suppose? Kinda falls flat. Why not just say, "We now have a breakfast puck for a buck"?!

Who the hell CARES if it's just like McD's?? Are there really people out there who are p!$$3d off that BK stole McD's idea? Don't they both sell the same sh!t anyway, like burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, fish filets, and milkshakes?? Wacko

When I saw this commercial, the first thing I was reminded of was Plankton stealing (or at least attempting to steal) the Krabby Patty secret formula from Mr. Krabs on SpongeBob SquarePants. :/

Confused...but they didn't use the 'R-tard' word!
(for those that 'don't get it', the 'magic word' is (misspelled) 'retread')
How can they be SO upset?!

Booger King should steal more breakfast ideas from McDonald's because their breakfast items are GROSS, especially that Croissan'wich with the runny sponge they use for eggs and their stale croissant.

Actually their "McMuffin" is good. And anyways, KFC stole the snack wrap, and Wendy's and BK soon followed, so expect Wendy's to steal the mcmuffin.

TongueSo did Tim Horton's (the Canadian, very-much upscale version of Dunkin' Donuts).
They make the BEST 'Snack Wrap' one can find, for $1.49 - they improved the heck out of the 'Snack Wrap' (they start by using whole wheat tortillas and REAL chicken and cheese).
In this case, I have NO issue.

I think it was just a catchy way to let you know it's only $1. Looks like it worked.

Unhappy...awww, c'mon ladies! There really are some classicly-bad B-King ads that simply require a 'revival' in 'bad taste'. I *really* am waiting for something so tasteless and disturbing! If they do it, I might go back - but it HAS to be as good at being very ugly as those were - I wont accept less.

"Wake Up with the King"
"BK Joe"

I'm actually waiting for something as stunning as either...

Ooh, I know how they could make it different! They could use something other than the bun from the McMuffin, and call it a "Sausage, egg, and cheese croissant"!

Man, why didn't they think of that, already! Wink

Of the fast-food burger sandwiches, I'll only eat Burger King's Whoppers.  I could eat one for lunch every day.  In fact, I used to do that when I was much younger.  Now, however, it would be too dangerous for me to indulge myself with any frequency.

But oh, yum!

I've never had a Whopper.  Or a Big Mac, for that matter.  Just the regular cheeseburgers.

My bucket list is more along the lines of appearing on Cops.  I wanna be the perpetrator on a high-speed police chase.  I'm driving a beat-up 1989 Honda (which I stole).  My license was revoked long ago for DUIs.  I'm tweaking on meth.  After crashing the car into a telephone pole, I try to escape on foot.  I hide under a dumpster behind a 7-11, but the K9 finds me.  I'm pulled out from underneath by the cops.  I'm covered in grime.  My baggy ghetto pants are down by my knees, and as I'm handcuffed, a skidmark is visible to the camera.  I insist the meth they find on me is someone else's.

It will have been the most exciting, albeit the lowest point in my life.  I figure I'll do this when I'm 70.  I can't wait.  LOL
