This is just getting freaky.

I wasn't a big fan of his music, but he was an awesome musical talent and an amazing guitar player.

RIP Prince or whatever you were currently calling yourself.

2016 has claimed another one.

Disapprove...oh yea, sure, fine.  One of our favorites croaks and we all comfort each other, but make it one of Nathan's favorites?! The whole board changes color (except, why didn't Nathan run with shades of PURPLE?).
Well, in any case, I had no idea 'Prince' suffered from 'Sudden Death Syndrome', but that last song - 'Baltimore'? I thought it sucked.
RIP

At the time when Purple Rain was popular, both the movie and the song.
I was living with a girl who loved him...I'm a sucker for a pretty face so we did what she wanted to do.

I have great respect for Prince's talent and contribution to the world of music. Unfortunately this mourning format is causing pain to my eyes and head. How long will the mourning period last?

WinkHey Sarge - as long as you dont have any 'furry hand habit', then you shouldn't have to worry about going blind from the 'mourning colors'...

RIP to the Artist Formerly Known as Alive.

What a shock.  Not a fan of his music, but I recognize the talent.

I will not think of the song "Party Like It's 1999" the same way again!

Did he do "Little Red Corvette"? I liked that song.

Oh my goodness, what a loss to the music world. This is probably the biggest one of the year. I loved his music. "1999," "Kiss," "Little Red Corvette," "Raspberry Beret," "Let's Go Crazy," "Pop Life." He will be dearly missed in the world of music and my condolences go out to his family, friends and millions of other fans. He can now party like it's 1999 up in the skies. RIP Prince!

Gotten so commonplace, I wake up every day I can and then check to see who won't or can't...guess this puts me in that same bucket with the old peeps we all knew who would immediately open up the newspapers (anyone remember them?) to the obituaries.

I really hate this year so far. We've lost some incredibly talented musicians. David Bowie, George Martin, Glenn Frey, Keith Emerson, now Prince. WTF? Seriously. Ouch

TV ALERT: MTV, yes, MTV, is showing Prince videos and the movie "Purple Rain" for the rest of the night.

Schedule here: http://pigeonsandplanes.com/2016/04/prince-mtv-videos/

Because Priince is dead we've changed the forum to some kinda weird orange and black Halloween theme? I don't get it.

Shouldn't the theme be, uhh, purple?

A fitting tribute, the lights are back on at CIH.

Tons of news coverage, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
