I started an internal cleanse a couple days ago and so I am down to a pretty clean diet.
Whether or not you are cleaning up your diet, these microwaveable rice bowls are EXCELLENT. Asian rices are time consuming to cook and can be difficult but the taste and texture are like no other and so well worth it. I can tell you I don't think I'll ever stand over a pot of asian rice again though after finding these.
The taste is FAR SUPERIOR to any of the Uncle Ben's micro rices, I am telling you!
And if you are trying to watch, I can't think of a better product right now. Also I am working without a kitchen, just a micro and a grill temporarily. So I have just been buying steam in a bag veggies and these rice bowls. Not to mention some damn good storebought fried chicken! I couldn't help it!
I just bought a variety case. I like the sprouted brown rice ones. I just heat, add soy sauce, hot sauce, scallions and leftover chicken. Yum.

The only downside is they are pretty much single serving. So if you are feeding a fam, they might not be the most cost effective, but for lunch or to keep in your desk drawer at work, they are great. |
