Leah (the wonder dog) knows that 3 is too many for the bed.
I roll around and kick. Once I get up, she takes over.
She knows the benefits of a pillow, even in the living room she will use either an armrest or a pillow to rest her noggin.

This is not so much adorable as it is.... vexing.

I got back home from spending TGD at my mom's house about an hour ago. All the time I was over there I kept on checking my indoor WiFi security camera hoping to see one or both of the cats cruising around the house maybe eating or licking their butts or whatever. I usually see Fidget, my grey male cat, doing one or both of those things at least once whenever I'm away and checking up on them and the house.

But not this time. No matter when or how often I'd check, nothing. No cat anywhere. The other cat always hides herself away in the utility room and stays there anyway, so I wasn't too concerned about not seeing her.

Anyhoo, as soon as I came in from the ride home this afternoon I heard his faint meow. Went to the hall closet, opened the door and out he came. Went straight for his food dish and is still camped out next to it.

Seems the dumb little twit ran between my feet and sneaked into the closet when I opened it yesterday morning to check on something right as I was leaving, then not knowing he was in there, I closed the door and left.

That was around 9am. I got home a little after 2:30 this afternoon, so he spent about 29 hours locked in there with nothing to eat or drink!!!

Worse yet is, he probably thinks I did it on purpose.

Little knucklehead.

I think he's pissed off at me now.

Won't jump in my lap like he normally does.

LOL

I once found Mickey in the linen closet---where he must've been the entire day, as I hadn't gone in there since my morning shower.  He was fine with it.  He's a hider, anyway.

Rocco once jumped into the refrigerator when he was a kitten.  Good thing he was vocal about getting out.  Even then, I barely heard him.

^  You know you've been blessed when your cat does that to you...even if it is at 2am, and you have to get up at 4am.  That's my Mickey and Mal.  There I am, sound asleep, when one or both of them climb on top of me and start smashing face, tapping my face with their paws, nibbling my arm, etc.  I could ignore it all if it weren't for their whiskers tickling me.  Still, I can't really get mad.  LOL

People who don't think cats are affectionate probably don't have one of their own.
